Kojain Sammelan 2026

1. Registration

By registering for KOJAIN Sammelan 2026, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. All registrations are subject to availability and confirmation by the KOJAIN organizing committee.

2. Payment and Pricing Tiers

All registration fees must be paid at the time of registration. Payment can be made via credit card through PayPal or via Zelle. Registration fees are based on four pricing tiers:

Early Bird: Registrations until January 31, 2026 (11:59 PM PST)
Regular (Wise Owl): Registrations from February 1 to April 30, 2026 (11:59 PM PDT)
Night Owl: Registrations from May 1 to June 20, 2026 (11:59 PM PDT)
Late Bird: Registrations from June 21, 2026 onward

3. Registration Fees

Registration fees vary based on age, KOJAIN membership status, and the pricing tier at the time of registration.

Age Calculation: All ages are to be considered as of 07/24/2026.

Ages 0-4:

FREE (registration required)

Ages 5-13:

KOJAIN Members: $139 (Early Bird) / $169 (Regular) / $199 (Night Owl) / $239 (Late Bird)
Non-Members: $169 (Early Bird) / $199 (Regular) / $229 (Night Owl) / $269 (Late Bird)

Ages 14+:

KOJAIN Members: $179 (Early Bird) / $209 (Regular) / $239 (Night Owl) / $279 (Late Bird)
Non-Members: $209 (Early Bird) / $239 (Regular) / $269 (Night Owl) / $309 (Late Bird)

4. KOJAIN Member Pricing

KOJAIN member pricing is available if the primary registrant is a KOJAIN paid member. This member pricing applies to:

The primary registrant
The spouse (regardless of age)
All children under 25 years of age in the same registration

For children above 25 years, a separate registration form must be completed to receive the member pricing.

5. Children Under 4 Years

There is no registration fee for children under 4 years of age. However, registration is still required for planning and safety purposes.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds are available based on the cancellation date (all deadlines are 11:59 PM PST):

Full refund (100%) → until March 15, 2026
Partial refund (50%) → until May 15, 2026
No refund → after May 15, 2026

To request a cancellation and refund, please contact the registration committee at sammelan@kojain.com. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation request.

Alternatively, you may transfer your registration to another eligible family member by contacting the organizing committee at least 30 days before the event.

7. Event Changes

The organizing committee reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, venue, or programming as necessary. In the unlikely event of event cancellation, registered attendees will be notified and refunds will be processed.

8. Photography and Media

By attending KOJAIN Sammelan 2026, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded during the event. These photos and videos may be used for promotional purposes by KOJAIN on social media, website, and other marketing materials.

9. Code of Conduct

All attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner throughout the event. The organizing committee reserves the right to remove any attendee who violates the code of conduct without refund.

10. Waiver and Release of Liability

By registering for and attending the 2026 Sammelan celebration (the "Event"), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding liability and risk assumption.

10.1 Assumption of Responsibility

As the primary registrant, you accept full responsibility for the actions and conduct of all participants you register for the Event, including yourself, your family members, and any other individuals included in your registration.

10.2 Release and Waiver of Claims

You, on behalf of yourself, all participants you are registering, and your and their respective families, heirs, and assigns, hereby:

Covenant not to sue KOJAIN, the organizing team, volunteers, sponsors, or any affiliated parties
Waive any and all claims against the organizing team and its representatives
Release and discharge the Event, KOJAIN, the organizing team, volunteers, and sponsors from any and all liability for claims, demands, losses, or damages

This release applies to any injury (including death), damage to property, or other losses, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, and includes any discipline imposed for failure to comply with event guidelines.

10.3 Emergency Authorization

You grant authority and permission to the organizing team to take any and all actions deemed necessary in the event of injury or damage to persons or property during the Event.

10.4 Insurance

The organizing team does not maintain insurance covering your person, property, or liability, or that of the participants you are registering, in relation to the Event. It is your sole responsibility to obtain any and all insurance coverage for losses that may be incurred by you or the participants you are registering while present at the Event.

10.5 Health Risks and COVID-19

You and the participants you are registering understand that there may be health risks associated with attending the Event, including but not limited to exposure to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases. After considering these risks, you and your registered participants are still interested in attending the Event. You agree to comply with all COVID-19 guidelines and health protocols in accordance with applicable city, county, state, and federal regulations as they apply to the Event.

By completing your registration, you confirm that you have read, fully understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this liability release and waiver.

11. Personal Information

Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for event planning and communication purposes. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
